Peg was born on March 15, 1925, the daughter of Richard “Joe” O’Connell and Margaret Grace. Peg’s mother passed away when she was young, and her father remarried Erma Holmes.

After graduating from high school in 1943, Peg attended Rasmussen Business School in St. Paul. She worked at Munsingwear in St. Paul and Bell Telephone in Hudson. Peg then served as Register in Probate for St. Croix County for 25 years, before retiring in 1988.

Peg was married to George Schullo on May 3, 1947, at St. Patrick Church in Hudson. They lived in Hudson until her retirement, then moved to Hartland, WI and lived there until 2006 when they came back to Hudson and moved into Pine Ridge Assisted Living. Peg was a member of St. Patrick’s Church most of her life.

Peg is survived by daughters, Mary Jo (Tom) Romportl of Hartland, WI and Lori Schullo of Woodstock, IL; sons, Patrick (Marilyn) Schullo of Hudson, WI and Michael Schullo of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren: Brian, Daniel and Scott Romportl, Colleen and Carl Schullo, and Michael and Allison Schullo. Peg was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, and will be missed very much.

She is further survived by a brother, Thomas “Tucker” (Janet) O’Connell; sisters-in-law: Sarah Lyksett, and Lorraine (Bob) McGrew; and cousins, nieces, and nephews.
