Marlene Chaves

Marlene Mae Chaves, age 85 of Hudson, WI, passed away November 17, 2019 at the Comforts of Home assisted living in Hudson, WI. Marlene was born on April 5, 1934 in Woodbury, MN, to Frank and Leona (Throast) Pribnow. On August 15, 1953 she was united in marriage to Joseph Chaves at Memorial Lutheran Church in Afton, MN.

Marlene will remain in the hearts of her children, Carol (Kevin) Meissner, Joe (Karen) Chaves, Diane (Larry) Wales, and Fudd (Annie) Chaves; grandchildren, Jason and Amy Meissner, Joey (Katherine) and Mary Jane Chaves; Nick (Lesley), Mike and Matt Wales; Brooke, Clay and Mason Chaves; great-grandchildren, Kennedy and Brynn Meissner; Hunter and Khloe Thielke; siblings, Clifford (Twila) Pribnow and Sandra (Wayne) Nelson; and many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe; parents, Frank and Leona Pribnow; infant sister, Carol Ann; daughter-in-law, Jeri Lynn Chaves.

A funeral service for Marlene will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 23rd at Memorial Lutheran Church, 15730 So. Afton Blvd., Afton, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment Memorial Lutheran Cemetery.
