Marlo Sannerud

Marlo M. Sannerud, age 80, of Hudson, WI passed away on January 13, 2016 at the Christian Community Home, following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s.

She was a longtime employee at Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad in the Information Services Department. Marlo was an avid supporter of her grandchildren – attending all of their events, she enjoyed reading in her free time, and was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She touched everyone she knew with her open arms, kindness, smile, laugh and unconditional love and support.

Marlo is survived by her loving husband, Peder; her children: Karen (Kevin) Leavell, Scott (Susan Stewart) Lentsch, Leigh (Craig) Bystrom, and Laurie (Mark) Nelson; 13 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Myrtle (Olson) Chatterton.

Visitation 4-7p.m., Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1205 Sixth St., Hudson. Funeral Service 11a.m., Monday, January 18, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church, with a visitation 1 hr prior to the service at church. Interment at Sunset Cemetery in Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association, 7900 W. 78th St. #100, Edina, MN 55439.
