Martin Curtis Lissick

Martin Curtis Lissick, age 73, of Roberts, WI passed away peacefully at his residence on February 9, 2015. He was born on February 11, 1941 in South St. Paul to Andrew and Loretta (Scott) Lissick. He served in the U.S. Army. Martin worked for NSP (Excel Energy) for 35 years as a steamfitter/welder. On April 11, 1997 he was united in marriage to Carolyn Jones (Eudy). Among his interests were hockey (both playing and coaching), fishing, golf and going up to his cabin in the Balsam Lake area.

Martin is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles; sister, Donna.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn of Roberts, WI; children, Scott Lissick(Janell) of East Bethel, MN, Teresa Christensen (husband, Tom) of Osceola, WI, Marie Cress (fiancé, Bryn) of Clear Lake, WI; step-sons, Travis Jones of Roberts, WI, Justin Jones of Ventura, CA; grandchildren, Tyler, Ashley, Ellie, Abigail, Joseph, Kayli, Lyssa, Brody, Bradly; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, James Lissick of Park Rapids, MN, Rich Lissick of Clear Lake, WI; sister, Joane Gutzman of South St. Paul, MN; mother-in-law, Mozelle Eudy of River Falls, WI; ex-wife, Laurel Paulson of Balsam Lake, WI; and his beloved cat, Lily.

A gathering of family and friends will be 2-5pm Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Cashman-Hill Funeral Home, River Falls, WI. During the visitation snacks will be available. There will be private family interment at a later date in Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI.
