Mary Danielson

Mary Rachel (Knudson) Danielson of Hudson WI, died Monday, January 13, 2014 at Pine Ridge Assisted Living in Hudson at the age of 83.  Mary was born in Jewel, Iowa on June 25, 1930.  She attended St. Olaf College and earned her nursing degree from Fairview Hospital in Minnesota.  She married Burton Danielson on September 20, 1952 and together they raised three children.

She was an avid reader and traveler and enjoyed documenting the family’s genealogy.

She is survived by her children: Brent and Tamra of Story City, IA, Sandy and Gene of Battle Lake, MN and Jill and Mark of Stanardsville, VA.

The family extends gratitude to the staff of Pine Ridge for their care over the last many years.

A prayer service for Mary will be held at 3pm on Friday, January 17 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson.  Graveside services at the Willow River Cemetery will immediately follow the prayer service.  Services are in the care of the O’Connell Family Funeral Home – Hudson Chapel.  715.386.3725
