Mary Elizabeth Kezele, age 74, of Hudson, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026. She was born on November 3, 1951, in Hibbing, Minnesota, to Joseph and Roseann Brown.

Mary dedicated her life to caring for others through her work as a Licensed Practical Nurse and X-Ray Technician. Throughout her career in healthcare, she was known for her compassion, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to her patients. Her gentle humor and caring spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

In her free time, Mary enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing and quilting. She took great pride in creating handmade items for her family and friends, many of which will be treasured as lasting reminders of her love and thoughtfulness. Mary also had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and especially cherished time spent at the camper with her family and friends, creating memories filled with laughter, relaxation, and togetherness. During the winter months, she looked forward to traveling to Texas, where she enjoyed warm weather and spending time with her dear friends.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Elissa Golden, and son-in-law, Derek Golden; her grand daughter Emma (Luke) Swenson,and grandson Noah Golden. She will also be remembered fondly by her extended family and many friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Gregory Kezele, and her parents, Joseph and Roseann Brown.

A celebration of Mary’s life will be held on February 12, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at Lakewood Memorial Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Avenue, Minneapolis, Minnesota. A visitation will take place for thirty minutes prior to the service; Inurnment will follow at Lakewood Cemetery. There will be a remembrance luncheon after the burial at Twin Cities 400 Tavern, 1330 Industrial Blvd Minneapolis, Minnesota.

As we remember Mary Elizabeth Kezele, we hold dear the lessons she imparted and the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
