Mary Lee Harp

Mary Lee Harp, age 73 of Ellsworth, WI, passed away peacefully at her home on May 17, 2020, surrounded by her family. Mary was born June 11, 1946 in Red Wing, MN to Allen and Marjorie (Denzer) Yanisch. Mary’s life was blessed with a son, William. She worked as a waitress at the Ellsworth Café for many years, and as a nursing assistant at the Piety Nursing Home.

Mary was very outgoing and social, always treasuring her time with family and friends. She delighted in shopping and dancing. Mary also enjoyed fishing and traveling throughout the United States. She had a special place in her heart for dogs, and adored her companions, Foxy and Maggie.

Mary will remain in the hearts of her son Bill (Tracey) Hines of Ellsworth; grandson, Danny (Taylor) Hines of Northfield, MN; granddaughter, Ashley Hines of Woodbury, MN; siblings, Joanne (Tom) Huppert of Cottage Grove, MN, Larry Yanisch of Woodbury, MN and William Yanisch of Elmwood, WI; nephews, Scott Huppert and Justin Yanisch; and caretaker and dear friend, Susan Coutley.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Marjorie Yanisch; and her beloved dogs, Foxy and Maggie.
