Mary Lyschik

Mary Ann Lyschik, 83, of Somerset, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at the Deerfield in New Richmond, surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Mary was born in Stillwater, MN, on February 3, 1939, to Charlie and Mae McGary. As she grew up and went to high school in Stillwater, she became passionate about the outdoors. Mary moved around the country. She worked as a cook for several years and enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, and flea markets as she traveled in her motorhome, even once shot an elk in Wyoming. She also loved her fur family of cats, dogs, and birds. Mary was a force to reckon with; she will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents and other siblings. She is survived by her sons, Michael Bodesheimer and Chris Scott; Grand-daughter, Kayla (Kamren) Sycks; Great Grand-children, Arayna and Travis; and several other family members and friends.
