Mary Selma Pearson

Feb 14, 1933 — Jul 17, 2026

Hudson

Mary Selma Pearson was born on Valentine’s Day February 14, 1933, born to parents Adolph and Angela Pearson. She reunited with Jesus on July 17th, 2026.

Mary was raised on the West End of St Paul and went to St. James Catholic School and St. Joseph Academy. She was the second eldest of eight children and was her mother’s right-hand gal. She was a devout Catholic who loved the Lord. He brought her peace, love, and strength every day.

Mary lived in CA for many years along with her mother, brother, and sisters. She was a dedicated and valued administrative employee for the FHA. She moved back to MN to take care of family and often put others' needs above her own. She had a servant's heart all her life. Known for her sharp mind, long memory, and quick wit,

Mary loved to laugh and reminisce fondly about her family who she loved so much. Mary only spoke kind words and never had a bad thing to say about anyone. She had a genuine interest in all her nieces and nephews. She prayed for them, loved them, and would always want to know about their health and happiness.

Mary enjoyed ice cream, playing cards, chicken nuggets, watching mass and Mother Angelica on tv, spending time with her friends and loved ones, laughing and brightening up a room with her sweet smile. She will be missed and remembered for her unselfish heart and kind spirit. We take comfort in knowing that she is reunited with her family that she loved so much.

Well done, good and faithful servant. We will miss you.

Mary is survived by brother, Richard Pearson; sister, Margaret Machi; plus, many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert Pearson, and Mark John Pearson; sisters, LaVonne Anderson, Patricia Snyder, and Donna Mayer.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, July 24, 11am, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Hudson, WI, with an hour visitation beforehand. We invite all who knew and loved Mary to join us in honoring her life and contributions to our family and community with a luncheon after the service. She will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Cemetery in North St. Paul.
