Mary Ellen Wiske, 62, of Prescott, WI, and formerly Sun Prairie, WI, died on June 10, 2025, at Mayo Clinic Hospital, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Mary was born on Aug. 4, 1962, in St. Paul, Minnesota, the daughter of Charles and Monica (Fontaine) Boschert. She spent most of her childhood years in Beaver Dam, WI, graduating from Beaver Dam High School in 1980.
She married Randal Perron in September 1988 and had two children, Ashley and Austin. In March 2002, she married Mark Wiske at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sun Prairie.
Mary enjoyed a rewarding 33-year career in the airline industry. She worked as a customer service representative for Northwest Airlines before the airline merged with Delta Airlines. She continued working at Delta, where she held customer service leadership roles at airports in Madison and Minneapolis-St. Paul.
Mary’s career offered many perks, including the ability to travel the world — an opportunity she embraced. She loved discovering new places, immersing herself in local cultures and appreciating the world’s beauty. Her adventures took her to four continents and on countless trips with her friends and family.
Mary cherished time with her family, especially during the holidays. She looked forward to baking cookies with her sisters, mother, nieces and daughter, and sharing special traditions, including hosting her annual family Christmas party.
Mary will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Mark “Zeke” Wiske; her children: Ashley (Alec) Olson and their children August, Arthur, and Ambrose; Austin (Maya) Perron; Luke (Deneen) Wiske and their children Tobin and Remy; Jake (Alicia) Wiske and their children Benjamin and Charlie.
She is survived by her siblings and their families: Terry (Beth) Boschert, Ann (Scott) Nickerson, Gail (Mike) Tomko, Gary (Deana) Boschert, Dave (Wendy) Boschert, Bill (Mary Pat) Boschert, Dan (Sue) Boschert, and Michelle (Ted) Aguilar, along with her sister-in-law, Jane (Terrel) Wiske Tomason. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Monica Boschert and her former spouse Randal Perron.
