Melvin Aeschliman

Melvin Glenn Aeschliman, age 84 of Baldwin, left us peacefully on July 12, 2025. Mel was born on May 9, 1941, in Ladysmith, WI.

Mel was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed a career as an electrician at Lee's Electric and as a truck driver. He was known for his strong work ethic, always keeping busy. When he wasn’t working, you could often find him enjoying the great outdoors, particularly fishing for northern pike—one of his favorite pastimes. Mel adored spending quality time with his family and friends, always making room for laughter, stories, and love.

Melvin will be deeply missed by his daughters Michelle and Monica; his forever friend Deb; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; his brothers: Clarence (Karen), Leonard (Rosita), Marvin (Nancy) and Randy; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Carolyn and brother Ronald.

Memorial services will be 12 Noon Thursday July 17, with visitation 11 AM – 12 PM at O’Connell Funeral Home, 1010 Newton St. Baldwin.
