Meta Ulman

Meta M. Ulman (Nething) age 93 of Hudson WI, passed away on Feb. 13, 2016, at the Christian Community Homes in Hudson, WI. She was born in Wieblingen, Germany and came to America with her family 1925. She grew up Chicago, IL. Where she met and married Bob Ulman (predeceased) and in 1952 they moved to Hudson, WI., raised 5 children while working at Wisconsin Bell and retired from AT&T in 1984. She loved helping people, was a great homemaker, mother and friend.

Meta is survived by her children: Sharon (Thom) Brown of Cedarburg, WI, Carol (Warren) Elsasser of Oceanside, CA, Barbara Patrow of Goodyear AZ, John Robert Ulman III of Hudson and Richard Ulman of N. Hudson, WI, and 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held May 24, 2016 at the Hudson United Methodist Church 1401 Laurel Ave. 4pm. Visitation 1 hour prior. Online condolences at oconnellfuneralhomes.com. Memorials to Christian Community Home or the Hudson United Methodist Church. A private interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
