Michael Schaefer

Michael J. Schaefer, 37, of Bloomington, MN, passed away suddenly on June 9th, 2023. He was born on May 13th, 1986 in Hancock, MI. Michael attended the Hudson Schools and graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a degree in Psychology. He was employed at the Friendship Village of Bloomington as the Director of Health Center Sales and Admissions. Michael was an avid sports enthusiast, enjoying playing baseball and golfing with his dad and friends. He is survived by his parents, Paul and Mary, brothers, Paul R., Chris, Bob, and Tim, and sister, Amy. Michael was such a wonderful person and dearly loved by his family, friends, and coworkers. He will sadly be missed by all who knew him. A private memorial will be held for him at the O’Connell funeral home in Hudson, WI.
