Minke, Chuck

Charles W. Minke, age 66, of Hudson, Wisconsin, died at his home, August 16, 2020 surrounded by loved ones. He was born to Ernest and Fay (Whaley) Minke on March 5, 1954, in St. Paul, MN. Chuck was united in marriage to Julie Ann Dufort on July 22, 2006. Together they enjoyed trips to Myrtle Beach and Lake Havasu.

Chuck was an avid hunter and fisherman, and was no stranger to a good golf course. In his earlier years, he bowled regularly.

He is survived by his wife Julie; three daughters: Carrie Davis, Jennifer Minke, and Brianna Minke; six grandkids: Diondra, Devon, Callie, Jada, Janiyah, and Cameron; sisters: Mary (Steve Sykora) Cournoyer, Debbie, Rose, and Joanne Minke; brothers: Kenneth and Clarence Minke; in-laws: Cathy Dufort, and James (Linda) Dufort; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson, WI. is Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 3-5PM. Masks and social distancing are required. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to The American Cancer Society
