Norbert Anthony Deiss

Norbert “Nub” Anthony Deiss, 89, of Ellsworth, WI died Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Atrium Post Acute Care, Ellsworth, WI.
Norbert was born on June 23, 1927, in town of Oak Grove, Pierce County, the son of Joseph and Hilda (Armbruster) Deiss. He married JoAnn Anderson on April 10, 1950 at St. Francis Catholic Church, Ellsworth, WI. Nub worked for many years for the Deiss and Nugent Feed Company.
Norbert is survived by his six children: Susan (Jake) Raehsler, Jane (Chuck) Murphy, Teri (Ray) Calistro, Mike (Yvette), Joe (Betsy Wesser), Mary Jo (Brian) Boigenzahn.
Seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife JoAnn nine months ago in November, his parents, sister’s Rosie Nugent and Jessie Campbell and brother Howard.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30a.m, Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at St. Francis Catholic Church, Ellsworth, WI. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00a.m., until time of Mass at the church on Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to St. Francis Catholic School.
