Norma L. Bicha, age 92, of Hudson, WI, died on Monday, February 29, 2016 at the Christian Community Home in Hudson.

Norma was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her faith sustained her all the days of her life and she was loved by all who had the good fortune to know her during her long and grace-filled life.

Norma was born in Los Angeles, CA on August 18, 1923, the daughter of John and Eleanor Griffith. She is survived by her brother, David (Caroline) Griffith; sisters, Betty Eichler and Elizabeth Saint; and her BFF, Sally Greeder.

She wed her beloved husband Gerald T. ’Jerry’ Bicha, in 1945. They enjoyed a cabin on the water, traveled the country and wintered for many years in Florida. The lovebirds celebrated their 70th anniversary in 2015 and enjoyed a full schedule of activities at the Christian Community Home and Winter Green over the past two years.

Their union was blessed with three children, Gerald L. ’Jerry’ (Judy) of Somerset, Gayle (Fred) Couch of Danbury and Jean Seiler of Somerset; grandchildren: Denise (Jim) Shipman, Lisa (Mike) Sicard, Luke (Jenni) Seiler, Missy (Lee) Germain, Dawn (Jim) Kaiser, Troy (Toni) Sierakowski, Tonya (Mark) Dion; great-grandchildren: Alisha (Joe) Johnsen, Nicholas Shipman, Samantha and Trevor Wolff, Emily and Cassandra Sicard, Logan and Lilly Seiler, Chloe Germain, Amber and Jimmy Kaiser, Leah and Curtis Sierakowski, Cash and Tyler Dion; and great-great-grandson, Carter Shipman.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mildred; brother, Charles; son-in-law, Jim Seiler; daughter-in-law, Jeanne Fischer Bicha; grandson-in-law, Craig Wolff; baby great-grandson, Jackson Germain; and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, March 3rd at Hudson United Methodist Church, 1401 Laurel Ave., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Willow River Cemetery of Hudson, with lunch to follow in the church fellowship hall.

Memorials are preferred to the Christian Community Home activity fund or Hudson United Methodist Church.
