Olive Brande

Brande, Olive, 92, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away on September 27, 2017. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister and was fondly known as “GeeGee” by her family and close friends. She was a strong woman of faith and her kindness, generosity, and sweetness always brought out the best in everyone around her. The fifth of nine children, Olive was born in Burkhardt and lived in Hudson, WI and the Twin Cities area for most of her life. She worked as a telephone operator for AT&T for 32 years. Olive moved to Scottsdale, AZ in 2007 where she loved to look at “her mountain” (Camelback) every day. She is survived by daughters Diane Trapp, Donnie Brande, Debby Bauer (Terry), son Patrick Brande, sister Lila Chiconis, 3 grandchildren Danya Zimbauer (Jesse), Brandon Bauer (Wendy), and Lia Klatt (John), and 8 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will take place 11:00 AM Saturday, October 14, 2017 at O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson, with a Gathering of Family and Friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at Willow River Cemetery in Hudson, with a luncheon reception to follow.
