Pamela Rae Neuendorf

Pamela Rae Neuendorf, age 80, of Houlton, WI, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 3, 2026. Pam was born in Cumberland, WI to the late Walter and Violet (Jerry) Dietrich. She attended Exeland, WI schools and graduated from Bruce high school in 1963. Her attendance at the University of Wisconsin – River Falls was interrupted after 3 ½ years so that she could care for her mother who had been in a serious automobile accident. Pam then went to work for the St Paul Companies as an underwriter for 20 years until she retired to again care for her mother at home for 25 years. Pam married Allen Neuendorf in 1976 and they celebrated their 50th anniversary in May of this year.

Pam loved to travel, spending an adventurous summer in Europe backpacking with three of her college friends. In later years Pam and Al traveled frequently to various countries is Europe, most often to favorite locations in Switzerland and England. She loved nature and the outdoors, spending many enjoyable vacations near Minocqua, WI at the “Bog Cabin” with Al’s brother Dave and his wife Sandy. Pam loved to frequent antique and thrift stores with her sisters, and she collected many eclectic pieces that she proudly displayed in her home. As a master gardener she spent much of her spare time raising flowers both inside and outside the house.

Pam was an early member of Family of Christ Lutheran Church in Houlton, serving for many years on various committees, and she found joy in both her church family and singing in the choir.

In addition to her parents, Pam was preceded in death by sisters Margaret-Ann and Nadine Hepp, and brothers-in-law Ron Hepp, Lawrence Suhsen, and Jerry Neuendorf, and sister-in-law Janet Neuendorf. She is survived by her husband, Al, sister Twylah Suhsen and sister LeMoine (Lee) Hargett and her husband George. Pam is also remembered by many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss her.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Family of Christ Lutheran Church in Houlton, WI. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. with a service starting at 11:00 A.M.
