Patricia Ann Murphy

Patricia Ann Murphy, 63, of Ellsworth, died Friday, December 26, 2014 at the River Falls Area Hospital. Patricia Murphy was born June 2, 1951 in LaCrosse, WI, to Rhea and Millard
(“Lefty”) Murphy. She was the youngest of three children, having a brother, Theodore, and a sister, Maureen. Shortly after her birth, Patty was placed in Northern Center of Chippewa Falls, WI. In May, 1974, Patty moved from Northern Center to Group Homes, Inc., (owned by the Stroms) in Ellsworth, WI, n/k/a Brotoloc, Inc., where she has resided these last forty plus years.
She was preceded in death by her father, a retired World War II veteran, in 1989, her mother, Rhea Murphy, who died in 1991, and a paternal uncle, Arthur Murphy.Patty attended Sunday School classes at Zion Covenant Church when Pastor Langager was there in the 1970’s. She also attended the County Workshop when she was younger. Patty enjoyed the company of all her friends and staff at Parkside in Ellsworth and was loved by all as a “little sister.”

Services for Patty will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 6, 2014, Hill Funeral Home, Ellsworth, Wisconsin.
