Patricia Mary Feyereisen

1934 — 2025

St. Louis, Missouri

Patricia Mary Feyereisen, age 91 passed peacefully on December 7, 2025. Patricia was born on July 20, 1934, in Castle Rock, Minnesota, the daughter of Robert and Clara (Kassel) Rother. She was the first born of 6 children and attended Saint Matthias Parochial Grade School and graduated from Randloph High School in Minnesota.

After High School Patricia worked as a secretary for an insurance company in St. Paul, MN where she met Philip Feyereisen. She and Philip first crossed paths on the dance floor of the Prom Ballroom in St. Paul and were married after Philip was honorably discharged form the service on June 8, 1957. They moved to River Falls and Patricia was a bookkeeper for the River Falls Creamery. After Julie was born, Philip and Patricia purchased his family farm and farmed for over 60 years. Patricia was proudly at his side-helping wherever she could around the farm and always provided many warm, home-cooked meals after a long day's work. Patricia was known for her beautiful flower gardens throughout the farm, her organic gardens that provided food for her family and the community, and managing the farm animals and her four children. She continued supporting farm life as a member of the Farmers Union.

As much as she loved being a wife and partner on the farm, her greatest joy was her children. While they were growing up, she was very active in their 4-H and PTA activities. Because of her love of music, all four children were involved in piano lessons and band activities which included many concerts, parades, football games and fund raisers. She was incredibly proud of watching each of them grow into thoughtful, capable adults. Patricia also dedicated many hours to St. Bridget's Catholic church, making donuts before mass, Country Store, sewing bandages for the Lepers and created many beautiful quilts with a group of senior women she orgainzed for the church sales. Patricia was also very famous for her baking of cinnamon breads at Christmas time for many neighbors, friends and relatives. Her girls remember her for all the clothes she sewed for them, especially the matching dresses for many events. She also took her son fishing on opening day to the Kinnikinnic and Trimbelle rivers for trout fishing in the early hours of the morning. Patricia also loved her grandchildren dearly and really enjoyed her time babysiting with them.

She is survived by her children Julie (Robert) Jones, Laura Laberee, Wendy (Dan) Geraty, and Dale Feyereisen; grandchildren Robert W. Jones, Nathan Geraty, Emily Geraty, Thomas Geraty, and Brooke Feyereisen. She is further survived by her sisters, Joyce Cobian and Dorothy Grundhauser, and brother and sisters-in-law Arthur (Marilyn) Feyereisen and Marilyn Feyereisen wife of deceased Charles Feyereisen along with many nieces and nephews.
