Patricia Kennedy

Patricia Ann Kennedy, age 72 of Hudson, passed away October 15, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. Patricia was born October 24, 1943 in Baldwin, WI, the daughter of Lyle and Dorothy (Iverson) Couch. She graduated from Hudson High School, the Class of 1961. Patricia was united in marriage to Rex Brown, who preceded her in death in 1968. Their marriage was blessed with a son, Dennis. Patricia was later married to William Kennedy. Their union later dissolved, but was blessed with a daughter, Sherri. Patricia worked as a field representative for WI Gas Company and rebate processor with Excel Energy until her retirement.

Most important to Patricia was her family. She cherished her time with her grandchildren, and delighted in being there to cheer them on in their sports and activities. It was the highlight of her retirement spending time with her grandchildren and keeping up with their active schedules. She was very proud of them and always had a story to share about them with friends and family. She was a wonderful mother, who sacrificed a lot for her children, doing so with a gracious and loving heart. Patricia enjoyed reading and was fond of watching her favorite soap operas. She was well entertained by watching football and other sports on television, and took great pride in attending Packer and Badger games with her family. Patricia had a great sense of humor and a wonderful smile that will surely be missed.

Patricia will remain in the hearts of her son, Dennis Kennedy of Hudson; daughter, Sherri (Eric) Schendzielos of Blaine, MN; grandchildren, Jonah and Blake Scheierl and Jack Schendzielos; step-grandchildren, Cassie, Avery, and Sam Schendzielos; brothers, Wayne (Kay) Couch of Baldwin, James Couch of Blaine, MN and Tom Couch of Hammond; as well as nieces and nephews: Michael (Jennifer) Couch, Kari (Scott) Benoy, Becky (Gerry) Miller, James (Marissa) Couch.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Lyle and Dorothy Couch; first husband, Rex Brown; and former husband, William Kennedy.

A Memorial Service will take place 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Harvestime Outreach Church, 498 Jacobs Lane, Hudson, with Pastor Randy Simonson officiating. A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place one hour prior to the service at church. A reception will immediately follow the service. Interment will take place at Willow River Cemetery in Hudson. Memorials are preferred to the family.
