Patricia Larsen

Patricia Jo ‘Pat’ Larsen, age 62 of River Falls died unexpectedly May 19, 2017 at Regions Hospital following a sudden stroke. Pat was born on August 26, 1954 in River Falls, Wisconsin; the daughter of Buel and Joan (Foster) Hall. She was raised in Chicago where she graduated from High School before receiving her bachelor’s degree in nursing. She worked in Duluth for St. Mary’s Hospital early in her career before working as a RN for the Lutheran Home in River Falls. Most recently and currently, she has worked for Hudson Hospital. Pat worked every department at the Hospital from OB, Med Surg, to the ER. Currently, she has been working in the oncology department.

On July 17, 1982, she was united in marriage to James ‘Jim’ Larsen at the Congregational Church in River Falls. They have made River Falls their home for many years. Pat loved to read. She also liked to play computer games, shopping, and camping with friends and family. Pat’s biggest passion was her family. She loved spending her life with Jim and was very proud of her boys.

She will remain in the hearts of her husband Jim; sons Nathan Lee Pomeroy, Matthew Hall Pomeroy, Samuel James Larsen; siblings Edward Foster Hall, Dianne Matejka; daughter-in-heart Katie Matejka; brothers/sisters-in-law Michael (Kathy) Larsen, Larry (Jean) Larsen, Joleen Stadsklev, Monica (Ron) Olson, as well as many nieces and nephews. Her parents precede her in death.

A time to reflect on the life of Pat, will be from 4 to 6pm with a brief prayer service at 6pm Thursday, May 25th at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson. Interment will be private. Memorials are preferred to the family.
