Patricia ‘Pat’ Lynch

Patricia A. Lynch, age 65 of Hammond, WI, formerly of Minneapolis, passed away October 23, 2012 after a 19 month valiant fight with cancer. Pat was the first female Executive Director and Vice President of the Metropolitan Mpls YMCA, as well as the first female Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Greater St. Paul. She was also a Management Consultant for the YMCA of the USA for 10 years. Pat was a great mentor and leader for others, and a true testament in helping others reach their potential. Most important to her, was her family. Pat cherished her time with her children and partner; and spent many summers at the YMCA Family Camp DuNord. Pat’s genuinue caring, sense of humor, and great laugh lifted your spirit and connected your heart in friendship. Pat will be dearly missed by her partner of 25 years, Amy O’Shea; children, Joe & Rosie; sister, Kay Kruse, brothers, Bill (Delores) Graham and Steven (Rita) Graham; best friend of 51 years, Rosemary (Michael) O’Meara Jordan and their children, Melissa, Jim & Courtney; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene & Margaret Lynch. A Celebration of Pat’s Life will take place 11 AM Saturday, October 27 at the O’Connell Funeral Home, 520 11th St., Hudson, WI, with a gathering of family and friends 1 hr prior to the service. A reception will follow. Memorials preferred to Camp DuNord Financial Assistance Endowment Fund.
