Patricia Evelyn Skoog

Patricia Evelyn Skoog age 98 of St. Paul. Passed away April 26, 2026, in River Falls, WI.

Pat was born September 28, 1927, in St. Paul the daughter of Albert and Emma Boerner. She grew up on the eastside of St. Paul and graduated from Johnson High School.

She and Ralph Skoog were married on July 3, 1950. They first lived in White Bear Lake and later moved to St. Paul.

After Ralph passed away, she moved to River Falls to be closer family.

Patricia loved the outdoors. She was excellent at fishing and preferred using a cane pool to catch many blue gills and sunnies that she would clean and fillet. She was so successful at fishing, that her husband named their boat “The Lucky Pat”. She really enjoyed time at the cabin near Webster, WI. Quilting was another hobby she enjoyed.

Preceded in death by husband Ralph; and brother Tom Boerner. Survived by children Pam Perry Skoog, Peggy L. Thomas, & Phil (Jodi); grandchildren Carissa, Carl, Shawn, Ryan, Neil & Steven; great-grandchildren Amelia & Grayson; sister-in-law Doris Boerner; nieces Jenny & Jodi; grandnieces & nephews Luke, Logan, Emma, & Sophia. Memorial Service Friday, May 8th 3 PM at O’Connell Funeral Home, Hudson. Visitation one hour prior to service. Private interment Union Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Gregory’s Gift of Hope Animal Shelter, New Richmond, WI
