Patricia Urban

Patricia Urban, age 76, of Prescott, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026, at the Prescott Nursing & Rehab.

Patricia was born on November 17, 1949, in Waukegan, Illinois, to Martin and Christine (Paramski) Dakus. She graduated from Warren High School in Gurnee, Illinois. In 1971, she was united in marriage to George Urban, and they were blessed with a daughter, Christine. Patricia and George shared many years of love and companionship until his passing in 2011.

Patricia had a creative spirit and found great joy in her many hobbies. She loved crafts, especially crocheting and cross-stitching, and took pride in her holiday cooking—her pierogi and lasagna were family favorites. She enjoyed vegetable gardening, listening to 1960s music (with Cher being a favorite), and spending time playing bingo. Patricia had a fond love for dogs, particularly her Pomeranians, and had a special appreciation for owls.

She will be deeply missed by her daughter Christine (Bryan) Kallenbach; her grandchildren, Caitlyn (Garret) Curtis and Mitchell Kallenbach; and her great-grandchildren, Cleo and Maddux. She is also survived by her sister Debbie Otterson; cousin Judy Asp; along with other relatives and friends.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Christine Dakus, and her beloved husband, George Urban.

Her family will remember her for her creativity, warmth, and the love she shared with those around her.

Patricia’s life will be celebrated by her family in a private setting.
