Phil

Phillip David Trudell, passed away on July 17, 2026, at the age of 79, with his children by his side. He was born on January 19, 1947, to Frank and Betty Trudell in Hudson, Wisconsin, where he also graduated high school.

Phil proudly served in the United States Navy, where he dedicated 22 years of his life until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, riding in the MS150 and tending to his garden. 

He was a devoted father to his children, and he took immense joy in being an active part of his grandchildren's lives, rarely missing their sporting events. He found peace and happiness at his cabin, where he spent many joyful moments with family and friends. 

Phil is survived by his children Elizabeth (Aaron) Lassiter, Rachael Trudell, and Marshall (Donna) Trudell; grandchildren Christian Johnson, Zach Hartman, Josh Hartman, Lucas Trudell, Owen Hartman, Kate Trudell, and Isabella Trudell; siblings Ken (Virginia) Trudell, Terry Trudell, and Jodi Crowe as well as many loved nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth; parents Frank and Betty Trudell; siblings Virginia Trudell, Beverly Baker, Robin Waldroff, and Teassie Widiker. 

Memorial services for Phillip will be held on a later date.
