Phyllis Jane Riedler

Phyllis Jane Riedler, age 88 of Maplewood, formerly of Baldwin, passed away June 16, 2017 at The Gathering at Boutwell’s Landing in Oak Park Heights, MN. Phyllis was born November 22, 1928 in Baldwin, WI, the daughter of Arthur and Minnie (Pundy) McConnell. Phyllis graduated from Baldwin High School, the Class of 1946. Phyllis worked as a secretary for Ecolab, until her retirement in 1999 after a long career.

Phyllis will remain in the hearts of her niece and nephews, Kris (Tom) Trembley, John (Liz) Wallin, and Rod (Ginny) Hamman; great nieces and great nephews, Emily (Chris) Kane, Michael (Toni) Wallin, Adam (Rachel) Mousel, Kristen Mousel and Mathew Mousel; as well as many loving friends and residents at the Phalen Shores apartments in Maplewood.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Donna (George) Wallin and Arlene Hamman; and brother-in-law, Calvin Hamman.

Funeral services will take place 1:30 PM Tuesday, June 20 at O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 1010 Newton St., Baldwin. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Baldwin. Memorials are preferred.
