R. Lenore Pechuman

R. Lenore Pechuman, age 79 of Roberts, passed away October 28, 2019 at the Hudson Hospital surrounded by her family. Lenore was born January 6, 1940 in River Falls, to Leroy and Eleanor (Graham) Schwalen. She grew up in Roberts, and graduated from Roberts High School. Lenore was united in marriage to Earl Pechuman on April 4, 1959 in Roberts, and the couple were blessed with a son, Jordan. She was a dedicated homemaker for her family and helped Earl on their dairy farm outside of Roberts. Lenore was truly selfless and was never worried about herself; instead she was always doing things and caring for others.

Lenore loved gardening, and maintained many flower beds and grew lots of fruits and vegetables. She was a gifted baker and would make treats daily for her family and others to enjoy, often using her homegrown strawberries and raspberries. Lenore was also fond of weaving rag rugs on her loom from scrap material she collected and was donated to her. She enjoyed her pet cats, and made sure they all had plenty to eat.

Lenore will remain in the hearts of her husband of 60 years, Earl; son, Jordan (Kim); grandchildren, Anthony (fiancée Jenna Manore) and Cassandra; great-granddaughter, Addelynn; brother, Wayne (Barbara Fleeman) Schwalen; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, George (Carla) Schwalen.

A Memorial Service for Lenore will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 2nd at the Roberts Congregational United Church of Christ, 1001 Birch Drive, Roberts, WI. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
