Ralph Peter Biniek

Ralph Peter Biniek, age 75 of Colfax formerly of Baldwin and Onamia, MN. Passed away unexpectedly at home February 13, 2025

He was born August 25, 1949 in St. Cloud, MN to Bernard Sr. and Eleanor Biniek. Ralph grew up in Onamia and graduated from the Onamia High School. Ralph served in the US Navy from 1967 to 1973. He served on board the USS Forrestal as an ADJ mechanic. After discharging from the Navy, he returned to Onamia.

He married Roxanne Jones and they had two children.

In 1995 he and Nanette Belland were married. They made their home in Baldwin.

Ralph worked for Quality and Monarch Asphalt Companies as a Heavy Equipment Operator. He was a member of the Union Local 49ers.

He was a hard worker; he liked wood working and landscaping.

Preceded in death by his parents; sisters Philomene Kowalsky, Kathleen Keith, and Phyllis Dunk.

Survived by his wife Nan; children Chad, Michelle, and Lucas (Crystal); 3 grandchildren Reese, Isaiah, and Reuben; 4 brothers Joseph, James, Ronald, and Bernard Jr. (Carla); and 3 sisters Teresa (Douglas) Anderson, Barbara (Andy) Isle, and Laurie Biniek.

Memorial Service 3 PM Wednesday, Feb. 19th with visitation 2 PM to 3 PM at O’Connell Funeral Home, Baldwin.
