Ramona Dittman

Ramona Dittman, age 80, of Woodville, Wisconsin died peacefully Saturday, July 14, 2012 in Hudson.
Visitation for Ramona will be on Tuesday from 9:30 until 11:30 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Woodville.  Funeral service will begin at 11:30 at Zion with Rev. Andy Boe officiating.   Burial will be in Lone Pine Cemetery, Woodville.

Ramona was born May 8, 1932, the daughter of Alvin and Elsie (Prantner) Wayne in Albert Lea, Minnesota.  She attended school at Faribault, Minnesota graduating in 1950.
On October 9, 1954 Ramona was married to Arlin Dittman at Trinity Lone Oak Church in Eagan, Minnesota.  Ramona had worked as a switchboard operator for Minnesota Mining in St. Paul prior to her marriage.  Ramona and Arlin had 4 sons: Mike, Dan, Neal and Joel.
Ramona's family came first in her life and she enjoyed spending time with all of them, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She enjoyed travelling with Arlin and visiting with family and friends.  She loved decorating her house for the holidays and the seasons.  She also enjoyed family dinners and dining with friends.  She was an avid bowler, enjoyed playing cards, and was a member of the Woodville American Legion Auxiliary.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Arlin, brother William Wayne, sisters Shirley Valentyn and Judith Gregor, and grandson Derek, son of Neal and Penny.
Survivors include her 4 sons, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren: Mike (Micki) Dittman of White Bear Lake, MN. and son Jonathan (Becky) Dittman and great grandchildren Aidan and Olivia; Dan Dittman of Wilson, WI. and children Aaron (Melissa) Boston and great grandson Ryder, and Ashley Dittman; Neal (Penny) Dittman of Baldwin, WI. and sons Darren and Andrew; Joel (Traci) Dittman of Cottage Grove, MN. and children Joelene and Jarek; 3 brothers: Ronald (Louise) Wayne of Antigo, WI.; Raymond Wayne of Owatonna, MN.; and Robert (Barbara) Wayne of Fridley, MN.;  1 sister Roberta (Kenneth) Zak of Owatonna, MN.; sister-in-law Teresa Wayne of Owatonna, MN.; 4 brothers-in-law: Jerome Valentyn of Faribault, MN.; Harlyn Gregor of Montgomery, MN.; Loren (Bernice) Dittman, Eden Valley, MN.; and Jerry (Diane) Dittman, Eden Valley, MN.; many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 from 9:30 until 11:30 at Zion Lutheran Church, Woodville, Wisconsin.  Funeral service followed at 11:30 a.m. at Zion with Rev. Andy Boe officiating.  Organist was Judy Albrightson.  Vocalist was Elizabeth Leon.  Burial was in Lone Pine Cemetery, Woodville.
Honorary bearers were: Ronald Wayne, Raymond Wayne, Robert Wayne, Jerome Valentyn, Harlyn Gregor, Kenneth Zak, Lauren Vanek, Larry Vanek, Lonnie Vanek, Roger Prantner.
Bearers were Mike Dittman, Dan Dittman, Neal Dittman, Joel Dittman, Aaron Boston, Jonathan Dittman, Darren Dittman, Andrew Dittman, Jarek Dittman.
