Raymond Paradowski

Jun 2, 1943 — Oct 13, 2026

Ray Paradowski was born in Milwaukee to Edmund and Bernice Paradowski. He was the third of four brothers, all of whom preceded him in death.

At the age of 21, Ray was drafted into the United States Army and served in Vietnam as a helicopter door gunner. In 1972, Ray came to know the Lord, and his life took a new direction. This decision became the foundation of a life devoted to faith, family, and serving God.

Shortly after coming to know the Lord, Ray met Kathy. Within just six weeks, they were engaged, and they married in June 1973. Together, they shared 53 years of marriage, faithfully serving the Lord side by side in many different ministries. Their life together was a testament to their shared faith and commitment to God.

Ray and Kathy were blessed with two sons, Ryan and Chad, who brought even more joy into their lives as they built families of their own. Ryan married Britney, and together they gave Ray four grandchildren: Cade, Roux, Briten, and Everleigh. Chad married Stephanie, and they blessed Ray with two granddaughters, Scout and River.

Ray was deeply thankful that God allowed him to live long enough to know and enjoy his grandchildren. After being diagnosed with cancer, he lived another 30 years—a gift for which he was especially grateful.

Ray is survived by his beloved wife, Kathy; his sons, Ryan and Chad; his daughters-in-law, Britney and Stephanie; his six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his three brothers.

Ray’s life was a testimony to the transforming power of faith, the enduring love of family, and the grace of God through life’s many seasons. His family is grateful for the years they shared with him and for the legacy of faith he leaves behind.

Celebration of Life

A celebration of Ray’s life is planned for June 2027, near his birthday. The memorial service will be held at Harvestime Church in Hudson, Wisconsin, where Ray and Kathy worshiped and served together. Following the service, Ray will be interred at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Additional details regarding the celebration of life will be shared closer to the date.
