Richard Conners

Richard “Dick” Conners passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 31, 2020 at

Inter-Faith Care Center in Carlton, MN. Dick was born on December 28, 1929 in St. Paul, MN to parents Henry and Violia (Heggenstien) Conners. Dick married the love of his life Jean Jennings on November 10, 1950 and together they had three sons. He worked as a truck driver at Cemstone for 35 years before retiring. He is survived by his sons Mike (Cindy) Conners and Kim Conners; grandchildren Amy (Lars) Danielson, Michael (Katie), Justin, Vicki, K.C., grandson-in-law Matt Underwood; great grandchildren; faithful companion Duke and special friends Tammy and Clyde. He is preceded in death by his parents; Henry and Violia, brothers; Harry and Jack, beloved wife Jean, son Steve and granddaughter, Jeni (nee Conners) Underwood. Dick will be fondly remembered by his neighbors that surrounded him on Big Lake in Cloquet, MN. A private service will be held at O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson.
