Richard M. ‘Rick’ Marier

Richard Michael “Rick” Marier, age 50 of Woodbury MN, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 of an apparent heart attack. Rick was born on December 15, 1963 in Minneapolis, Minnesota; the son of Wayne and Patricia (Fox) Marier. He was raised in So. St. Paul where he attended school. Rick was gifted with his hands and worked as a diesel mechanic for All State Peterbuilt in So. St. Paul. Following this, he worked for Kemps Dairy, where he assisted in the pasteurization of milk.

Rick’s greatest love in life was his family. He cherished time spent with his wife Julie, and playing the role of father to his children. He enjoyed visiting with family and friends and even trying his hand at volleyball and hockey. One of his soft spots in his heart was for his terrier dog, Chopper.

Rick will remain in the hearts of his wife Julie; children, Richard Anthony, Jonathon David, and Jennifer Yvonne; grandchildren, Anthony Marier, Benjamin Ross, Izzy Marier, and Riley Marier.

Paying respect to Rick’s personal nature about him, his family will celebrate his life in a private manner. Cremation services entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Homes and Countryside Crematory of Baldwin.
