Richard "Rick" Peiffer

Richard (Rick) D. Peiffer, 69, of Cottage Grove, MN. October 19, 2025. Surrounded by family members, passed away quietly, after a lengthy illness while residing at White Pines Advanced Assisted Living (Mendota Heights, MN). Rick was preceded in death by both parents; Richard G Peiffer and Betty Joan Peiffer and is survived by a daughter Lisa Fernandez of Cottage Grove and a granddaughter Olivia Bies of Cottage Grove; brother, Robert J. Peiffer (Jene) of Myrtle Beach, SC; sisters Linda Truesdell (Brian), of Mendota Heights, Minnesota and Holly Jones of River Falls, Wisconsin, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Rick was a retired Washington County HVAC specialist for the State of Minnesota and was a lifelong resident of Cottage Grove. Rick loved spending as much time as possible outdoors working in his yard and gardens as well as riding on his Harley Davidson motorcycle touring the country.

A special "Thank You" to the caring staff of White Pine Assisted Living and Memory Care, Mendota Heights, Minnesota and to the close personal friends and neighbor of Rick during this difficult time.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025 at O'Connell Family Funeral Home in Hudson, WI from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M.
