Robert Culver

Robert Sloan Culver, age 69 of Hudson WI and former long time resident of White Bear Lake MN, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2010 at the Christian Community Home in Hudson. He was born the son of Homer and Margaret (Swartz) Culver on November 23, 1941 in Eau Claire WI. Robert and Sigrid R. Christophersen were united in marriage on August 5, 1967, and were blessed with three children.

Bob is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sig; daughter Maija (Cory) Stubbendick of Hudson, sons Michael (Erin) Culver of River Falls, and Andrew Culver (fiancée Nora Nelson) of Hudson; eight grandchildren, Maxwell, Tyler, Brody, Erik, Riley, Allie, Casey, and Kerrigan; sister Mary (David) Schuck of Cottage Grove; sister-in-law Linda Culver of Arlington Heights IL; nephew Mark (Julie) Culver of Arlington Heights IL; and niece Kelly (Roger) Servey of The Colony TX. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother David Culver.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held from 4:00-7:00PM, and a service dedicated to “Remembering Bob” will begin at 6:30PM on Friday, December 17th at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 South 11th Street, Hudson WI, 715-386-3725. Memorials are preferred. A private family burial will be held in the family plot at Forest Hill Cemetery in Eau Claire. Services have been entrusted to the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Hudson, 715-386-3725.
