Robin Kelley

Robin Kelley, age 54, died as a result of a car accident October 27, 2018, alongside her husband Donald Kelley. Robin was born on March 12, 1964 to Sidney and Janet (Schreurs) Nowinsky in Wausau, WI. She grew up in Antigo, WI, later attending University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, and graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism. Robin was an accomplished businesswoman and had a successful career in Change Management. She was currently employed at Inoapps. She had a passion for communications, team building, and mentoring others. Her organizational and leadership skills brought her respect from her peers and management.

She met & married Randy Penkwitz, and together were blessed with two daughters, Riley and Reena. Robin and Randy’s union would later dissolve, but Robin would find new love in Donald Kelley, and warmly welcomed Don’s three children into her life. Together, Robin & Don lived their short time together to the fullest, spending their favorite moments together at their cabin on the lake. Robin enjoyed seeing and experiencing all that life had to offer. She traveled across the globe and fulfilled a lifelong desire to live abroad, spending 6 months in Syndey, Australia in 2015. Robin was the life of the party, everyone’s best friend, beautiful beyond imagine

Robin will forever remain in the hearts of her two daughters, Riley Penkwitz of St. Paul, MN & Reena Penkwitz of Tacoma, WA; as well as the hearts of her three step-children, Blake, Monica, & Rachel Kelley of Woodbury, MN; her parents Sidney & Janet Nowinsky of Antigo, WI; her siblings Joel (Jeanne) Nowinsky of Antigo, WI, Sam (Kelli) Nowinsky of Hilliard, OH, & Jason (Christy) Nowinsky of Wausau, WI; as well as many extended family members & friends. She is preceded in death by her grandparents; so joyously received by beloved grandmothers Hildegarde (Richter) Nowinsky and Emma (Stadler) Schreurs

A Visitation for Don & Robin will be held Thursday, Nov. 1 from 4:00-7:00 PM at O’Connell Family Funeral Home, Hudson. A Funeral Mass for Don & Robin will take place on Friday, Nov. 2 at 3:00 PM, preceded by a one-hour visitation at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Hudson. Interment Willow River Cemetery, Hudson.
