Hudson

Robin Lindsay Moreland, age 63, of Hudson, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on September 13, 1962, and raised in Hayward, Wisconsin by her parents Colleen and Jack Moreland, who were very well known as Hayward natives. She was a beloved mother, daughter, entrepreneur, and friend to many.

Robin was a dedicated small business owner, pouring her creativity and energy into her greeting card business. She was deeply passionate about her craft and proud of the hard work she put into building her business. Beyond her work, she embraced life with a vibrant and colorful spirit—she made an impact everywhere she went and in every person she talked to.

Robin spent much of her free time in Hayward which she considered her happy place. She cherished her family and friends; she deeply appreciated moments of laughter, attending social events, traveling, and simply the joy of being surrounded by those she loved.

Robin is survived by her three children, Carter (Ashley) Schuett, Molly Schuett, and Logan (Hannah) Schuett, her significant other, Jason Ristau, and her loving mother, Colleen Moreland. She was also deeply loved by many friends, coworkers, and extended family. Her family truly was the light of her life.

Robin was preceded in death by her father, John O. Moreland Jr, grandparents, Catherine and Joel Wesslen; John O. Sr and Dagne Moreland; as well as many other individuals she loved.

Robin faced a courageous three-year battle with breast cancer, yet throughout it all she remained full of life, grace, resilience, and strength. She will be deeply missed by so many, but her love, energy, and memory will live on forever in the hearts of her family, friends, and community.

Robin’s family invites you to join them on Saturday, October 18th at White Eagle Golf Club in Hudson, to celebrate a life well lived. A remembrance service will begin at 2 PM. There will be an open mic where her family would love to hear your favorite memories with Robin. Following will be refreshments and happy hour from 3 - 5 PM. All are welcome at both. Please wear your bright colors as Robin would have wanted, and let’s celebrate a woman who brought life into every room she entered.
