Ronald R. Gorke

Ronald Robert Gorke, age 80 of Houlton, WI, passed away May 8, 2017 at his home.

Ron was born November 29, 1936 in Marshfield, WI, to parents Wilferd and Leona (Parmelee) Gorke. He was united in marriage to Carol Deichsel on August 18, 1965, and the couple was blessed with three children. Ron worked at 3M for 30 years. He was an avid bow hunter and loved fishing and gardening.

Survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Carol; daughters, Tammy Moga and Dawn Parmalee; son, Robert Gorke; grandchildren, Angela, Melinda, Daniel and James; and three great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Leona Gorke; brother, Billy; and sisters, Eva and Carole.

Memorial Service 11:00 AM Friday, May 12, 2017 at the First Presbyterian Church of Stillwater, 6201 Osgood Ave. N, Stillwater, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.
