Ronda Baumgartner

Ronda A. Baumgartner, age 51 of New Richmond, passed away June 20, 2015. Ronda was born July 5, 1963 in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of Ronald and Janice (Pauling) Olsen. She graduated from Richfield High School, the Class of 1981. Ronda furthered her education at the University of Wisconsin – River Falls, obtaining a Bachelors degree in Business. In her earlier years, Ronda worked in sales and advertising at the Hudson Star Observer newspaper. Ronda also worked as a service director for Wells Fargo for many years. Ronda’s life was blessed with three sons, Elijah, Isaiah and Jonah.

Outside of her work, Ronda enjoyed crafting and interior decorating. She was an excellent cook who had a gracious heart in hosting family and friends. She had a big personality, with a great sense of humor, which touched the hearts of those around her. Ronda’s biggest accomplishment in which she was most proud of, was her three sons.

Ronda will remain in the hearts of her sons, Elijah and Isaiah Baumgartner; father, Ronald (Susan) Olsen; siblings: Racheal (Ralph) Miller, Rebecca (Tim) O’Keefe, Rana B. Olsen, Shannon (Mark) Stay, Kristoffer Olsen and Jon DeJager, many nephews; nieces; and former husband, Dan (Sonja) Baumgartner. She was preceded in death by her son, Jonah Baumgartner; and mother, Janice Olsen.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place 5:00 – 7:00 PM, with a 7:00 PM Memorial Service, Sunday, July 5, 2015 at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home of Hudson. Interment will take place at Willow River Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to sons, Elijah and Isaiah.
