Rosabelle Mcquarie

Rosabelle (Thompson) McQuarie of Prescott died November, 2, 2022 at Prescott Nursing Home and Rehab Center.

Born August 7, 1926 in Mora, Minnesota to Gust and Minnie (Rake) Thompson.  She married John McQuarie in Elmore, MN on September 7, 1943.  In addition to raising her family, Rosabelle was always doing volunteer work in the community, inclusive of the VA Hospital, the American Legion and countless hours baking and serving with her church home. She befriended everyone she met and seemed to reach out and help some that appeared to need an extra hand.

She is survived by three children, Patty (George) Munchow , John (Patty) McQuarie, Jr., and Lisa Kohl.  She had 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by two sisters, seven brothers as well as her husband, John; son Lance, daughter Linda Jaramillo, and two grandchildren, Maureen and Aaron.

Funeral services are being held November 19, 2022, at 11 A.M. at Prescott United Church of Christ in Prescott, Wisconsin with a visitation staring at 10 A.M.  Interment will immediately follow the service at Pine Glen Cemetery in Prescott.  Donations in memory of Rosabelle to the charity of your choice.
