“Sandy”, age 66, of River Falls, WI, died Monday, December 16, 2013 at United Hospital, St. Paul, MN. Sandy was born on December 30, 1946 in Menomonie, WI the daughter of Donald Nelson and Marion White. She was very loving, caring, kind and compassionate with a large side of unselfishness that could not be compared. Her grandkids were the highlight of her life.She will be sadly missed by her husband Martin “Sal” Nelson, River Falls, WI.Daughter, Jody (Gale) Christensen, Ellsworth, WI.Son, Jay (Jessie) Verding, Red Wing, MN.Grandchildren: Curtis, Carlie, and Carter Christensen and Tyler Verding.Brother, Gary Nelson, Plum City, WI.Nephew, Greg Nelson, Plum, City, WI .Niece, Kristin Nelson, Manitowoc, WI.She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents Ada and Delbert Countryman.Cashman-Hill Funeral Home & Cremation Services, River Falls, WI is serving the family.
