Sandra Rose Salak

Sandra Salak, age 74, passed away naturally on April 25, 2026, at Glenhaven in Glenwood City, Wisconsin. 

Sandra was born in Saint Paul, MN to William and Caroline Parastiuk. She grew up in East St. Paul. After graduating high school, she did some additional training as an administrative assistant. One of her favorite jobs was working at Continental Cable in St Paul. 

She was artistic and crafty throughout her life. Her final project was a detailed scrapbook of her family history. Sandy was known for her style and great taste. 

Sandra is survived by her daughters, Kelly Salak and Stacy Salak; Grandkids Jasmine and Aiden; and two great grandbabies. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Caroline Parastiuk; and her brother Dan Parastiuk. 

Per Sandy’s wishes, her ashes will be spread over her parents’ burial sites. The family is grateful for the services provided by Adoray Hospice both to Sandy in the last year, and to the family since Sandy’s passing.
