Sandra "Sandi" Jeanne Larson, passed away on May 13, 2025, at the age of 82, after a short illness. Born on March 15, 1943, in Saint Paul, MN, to parents Arthur and Louise (Hafslund) Johnson. She attended Como Park Senior High and worked for many years in downtown St. Paul in the clerk of courts office.
In 1994, she married Emil "Ed" Larson, and she moved from the city to Ed's farm in Canby MN, where she cultivated her love for the outdoors, gardening and raising horses. They frequently enjoyed trail riding trips to South Dakota with their horses. In 2005, they moved from the farm to a log cabin in the woods outside of Amery, WI and then eventually to White Bear Lake.
Sandi was always an avid gardener, and she loved tending her vegetables and flowers. She was a talented seamstress and knitter, creating warm and cherished gifts for her family. Known for her culinary skills, she took great pleasure in cooking and canning, often sharing her delicious creations during family gatherings and holiday celebrations, many which she hosted. She continued this tradition right up until her death baking dozens of goodies for her neighbors and friends, including her team of doctors and even the young man who delivered her oxygen weekly.
Sandi adored her dogs, especially Zoe, and then her last beloved companion, Dakota. Later in life, she found a deep and lasting connection to her faith and became a Catholic in 2007. This became an integral part of her life and identity.
Sandi is survived by her children John Lindner (Wendy Zarse), Todd (Dawn) Lindner and Seanne Hagemeyer; grandchildren Wynn, Brandon, Johnnie, Cory, Timothy, Andrew, Tanner; great grandchildren Scarlett, Isla, Mikko, and Rhodes.
She is preceded in death by her husband Emil "Ed" Larson; parents Arthur and Louise; brother Robert Johnson.
