Scott C. Mcneilis

Scott Christopher McNeilis, age 52 of New Richmond, WI passed away January 5, 2015 at home.  Scott was born August 10, 1962 in McKeesport, PA, the son of James William Sr. and Camille (Clarkson) McNeilis.  Scott graduated from St. Peter’s High School in Mansfield, OH, the Class of 1981.  In high school, Scott was a competitive and successful wrestler.

After high school, Scott moved to the Hudson, WI area where he lived the rest of his life.  Scott was due to graduate this spring with a degree in accounting. It was no surprise to those of us who knew him that he was quick to proclaim his 4.0 GPA Scott was very proud of his educational accomplishments.  In Wisconsin, Scott befriended many people at school, and while working out at Snap Fitness.  Scott was a very positive person and saw only the good in others.  He will be remembered for his kind and gentle nature.

Scott is survived by his mother, Camille McNeilis of Delaware, OH; siblings, Jim

(Cindy) McNeilis of Dublin, OH, Lance (Beth) McNeilis of Ft. Myers, FL, Sean McNeilis of Springfield, MO, Margaret (David) Lundquist of Honolulu, HI, Camille (Eric) Tharp of Delaware, OH and Joe (Breanne) Noser of Columbus, OH, and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father, James William McNeilis Sr.

Graveside services honoring Scott’s life will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Glendale Union Cemetery in Cardington, OH.
