Scott C. Schuknecht

Scott Charles Schuknecht, 55, of Hudson, WI, loving husband and father, devoted son, brother, and uncle, passed away unexpectedly on June 1, 2015.

Scott was born on July 16, 1959 to Glen and Beverly Jean (Harrie) Schuknecht. He graduated from Menomonie High School and entered the U.S. Army. Upon his honorable discharge, he attended UW-Stout and received his B.S. in Package Engineering in 1984. Scott spent his career at 3M, where he appreciated the many opportunities 3M had to offer, until he retired last year. Scott enjoyed gardening, traveling, fishing, and riding his Harley.

Scott will be greatly missed by his wife of 34 years, Julie; and son, Alex. He will also be missed by his mother, Jean Schuknecht; siblings: Vicki, Jeff, Steve (Peg) Schuknecht, Ann (Jim) Corrigan; in-laws, John and Barb Deutscher, and Jack (Gina) Deutscher; many nieces, nephews, faithful friends; and dog, Millie.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glen.

A Memorial Service for Scott will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 8, 2015 at Bethel Lutheran Church – Highlands Campus, 504 Frontage Rd., Hudson, with a gathering one hour prior to the service at church.
