Sharon Danielson

Sharon Louise Danielson, age 70 of Hudson, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on October 28, 2017. Sharon was born on June 29, 1947, in Amery, WI, the daughter of Everett and Virginia Westlund. Sharon was married to Harry Danielson and their marriage was blessed with two children, Dustin and Courtney. She spent the last 25 years of her life with Kent Carlson, her love and partner in life. Sharon worked diligently for Phillips Plastics for over 20 years as a laborer.

Sharon was an incredibly selfless and caring woman; she looked forward to the holiday season each year because she thoroughly enjoyed giving to others. Her love for her friends and family was limitless, and she was always immensely proud of her two children as well as her grandchildren. She felt nothing but comfort and happiness whenever she was up north at the cabin with Kent or her family. Sharon never failed to put others first; her dedication to her family and ceaseless, hard-working attitude will always be remembered by those who were close to her.

Sharon will remain in the hearts of her soulmate, Kent Carlson; children, Dustin (Trisha) Danielson and Courtney Danielson; grandchildren, Madison and Hunter Danielson; brothers, Kirby (Sandy) Westlund & Keith Westlund; well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Virginia; and her sister-in-law, Linda Westlund.

A Memorial service will be held at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, November 1, with a gathering of family and friends from 4:00 – 6:30 PM at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home, 520 S. 11th St., Hudson, WI. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
