Shelia Mae Schellfeffer

Jul 8, 1948 — Oct 23, 2026

Shelia Mae Schellfeffer, age 78, passed away on October 23, 2026.

Shelia was born on July 8, 1948, in River Falls, Wisconsin, to Ralph and Alice Hetrick. She grew up in River Falls, where she spent her younger years before meeting the love of her life, Robert Louis Schellfeffer. The two were united in marriage on August 31, 1974, beginning a lifelong journey together filled with love, hard work, and devotion to one another.

Following their marriage, Shelia became Robert's other half in every sense of the word. As a farm wife, she was no stranger to hard work and took pride in the life they built together. She was a faithful and loving wife who stood beside Robert through all of life's seasons. When they weren't busy with the demands of the farm, Shelia and Robert enjoyed spending time together fishing, hunting, and taking road trips. For Shelia, it was never about where they were going, but rather the joy of being together and sharing life's simple pleasures.

Together, Shelia and Robert were blessed with three children, Brian, Matthew, and Tammi. With each child, Shelia's heart seemed to grow a little bigger. She poured her love into her family, always putting their needs before her own and making sure they knew how deeply they were loved. Shelia had a special way of making everyone feel welcome, especially around the dinner table. Her home-cooked meals and desserts were more than just food; they were one of the many ways she showed her love and care for those around her. No matter the occasion, she always wanted her family to feel comfortable, cared for, and at home.

Above all, Shelia will be remembered for her unwavering love and devotion to her husband and family. She was a hardworking woman with a generous heart who gave so much of herself to the people she loved. The memories of time spent together, meals shared around the table, and the simple moments that made life special will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Shelia is survived by her loving husband, Robert Schellfeffer; children, Brian (Hai-ran) Kelly, Matthew (Helen) Kelly, and Tammi (Chris) Sanchez; siblings, Gary Hetrick, Daryl (Linda) Hetrick, Bruce (Violette) Hetrick, Jeff Hetrick, Julie (Alan) Mills, and Marcia (Phil) Anderson; along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Alice Hetrick; and her sister-in-law, Darlene Hetrick.
