Sheryl Rose

Sheryl Lynn Rose, age 71, of Ellsworth, Wisconsin, peacefully passed away on October 19, 2024 at the Brotolac Group Home in Ellsworth. Born on December 28, 1952, in Alden Township, rural New Richmond, she was the beloved daughter of John “Chick” and Rosella “Sally” (Johnson) Rose.

As a young child, Sheryl faced significant health challenges, including spinal meningitis and its resulting complications, which included a traumatic brain injury and later polio. Despite these struggles, her family loved her deeply and cherished the moments of joy she brought into their lives. Sheryl’s happiness was infectious, especially during family gatherings and holidays like Christmas, where laughter and togetherness filled the air.

Reunited in spirit, she is now greeted warmly by her parents in heaven. Sheryl is survived by her loving brothers: David (Jean), Thomas (Lisa), John Jr. (Diane), and Joseph (Tammy), along with numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

A private service honoring Sheryl will be held by her family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are welcome at the family’s discretion.
