Shirley Jane Reinhardt, age 89, passed away peacefully at Park View Community Home in Woodville, Wisconsin, on April 26, 2026.
Shirley was born in Saint Paul, MN, on August 21, 1936, to Palmer and Emma Olson. She married Gene Reinhardt on October 16, 1954, and together they shared many years of marriage and a deep commitment to their family.
Shirley was the very definition of the words "Mom" and "Grandma." She often stated that her greatest accomplishment in life was raising her five boys. A woman of many talents, she loved to spend time fishing, baking, and cooking for those she loved. Her generosity was legendary; as Gene used to tell the boys, you had to keep an eye on her because she would quite literally give you the shirt off her back. She leaves behind a legacy of selfless love and cherished family memories.
She is survived by her sons: Greg (Sally) Reinhardt, Mark (Sandra) Reinhardt, Steve (Cindy) Reinhardt, Daryl (Ann) Reinhardt, and Ray (Heather) Reinhardt; her sister, Wendy Olson; 14 grandchildren; and 21.75 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Shirley was preceded in death by: her husband, Gene Reinhardt; her parents, Palmer and Emma Olson; her sisters, Bev Cunnien and Donna Wagner; her daughter-in-law, Carol Reinhardt; and her granddaughter, Kali Reinhardt.
