Steven Milo Nelson

Steven Milo Nelson, age 60, passed away unexpectedly December 7th 2025. Steve was born October 4th, 1965 to Dennis and Faye Nelson. He was a lifelong resident of Roberts, graduating from St. Croix Central in 1984. Steve worked as a machinist operating his own shop, Nelson Machining, Inc since 1999. His happy place was the outdoors where he enjoyed deer and pheasant hunting and was a skilled trap shooter. Steve was a proud father, grandpa, brother, and son.

Steve is survived by his children Corynne (Michael) Arendt and Logan (Erin) Nelson; his father Dennis Nelson (Janice Conwell); his brothers and sisters Darrell (Tanya McConaughey) Nelson, Denise (Dave) Nelson-Cave, Tony (Angie) Nelson; his grandchildren Miles and Eden; the mother of his children Roxy; many uncles, nieces, nephews, and a large circle of close friends.

Steve is preceded in death by his mother, Faye Nelson; uncle Dean Nelson; grandparents Roger & June Nelson, Beth Linehan, & Milo Wilcoxson.

All services will be held at Roberts Congregational Church. Visitation will be held from 4pm - 7pm on Tuesday, December 16th. Funeral will be held at 11am Wednesday, December 17th, with a Visitation 10am - 11am before the service.
